SVN Introduction

SVN Introduction

Please refer to the attached SVN client tutorial  for better instructions for downloading a client i.e. TortoiseSVN client or Subclipse plugin for Eclipse.

 Briefly, the SVN process is:

  •      ’Checkout’ files from the repository to a local  folder that becomes your ‘local working copy’.
  •          Edit/Add/Remove any files you want.
  •          Upload your changes to the repository by issuing  ‘commit’ command.
